The Biobuilder Club at Alverno was established by the Honors Independent Research in Science class in 2016-17 to learn about genetics, engineering and synthetic biology. 
​A key element to the club will be to create educational experiences for young students in elementary and middle schools.

Outreach

Students visit local elementary and middle schools to educate students about genetics and synthetic biology
